Why? I didn’t start this way. I realized after 10 years of private practice that my best clients were lawyers. I think it’s because at your core you are an idealist. You are ambitious and intelligent. You also don’t want to burden your family or friends with your stress. So you understand the value of having a professional in your corner.
I'm not a counselor who will tell you what you already know, and I won't just sit and listen. I understand how the mind works and why we experience stress like we do.

ABOUT RICHARD
Richard's approach is very pragmatic. You will learn to live more fully in the present moment and be more deeply connected with what is most important in your life.
Since 2010 Richard has been licensed to practice counseling in Texas and is an approved supervisor for early career therapists.
Most recently the clinical director for a prominent psychiatric hospital Richard has worked with a wide-range of clients and client problems. Richard brings expertise, authenticity, and compassion to every need.
In 2009 he received a grant from the Texas Department of Health and Human Services to establish Twogether in Texas, a program providing free pre-marital classes, in north Houston.
Richard completed his Masters in Counseling at The Houston Graduate School of Theology where he learned the role of healthy, balanced spirituality in mental wellness.
Most importantly however, Richard is also a husband and father of two.
